It seems like SO long since we have had new Cher Lloyd music. In fact, it has been about a year and a half since her last album – Sorry I’m Late – was released. However, it does seem as though new music is on the way.
Cher has been keeping her fans updated periodically via her Twitter account, in which she has been in and out of the studio, so we know she has been working on something, but three new registered tracks seem to confirm that.
To begin with, we know that Cher has been writing with Justin Tranter who is a fantastic songwriter. He’s worked on major tracks such as Justin Bieber’s ‘Sorry’, Fifth Harmony’s ‘Like Mariah’, Fall Out Boy’s ‘Centuries’, and Pia Mia’s ‘Touch’, to name but a few. The only thing we can say is that it sounds promising.
From the looks of the details of the tracks, they have been registered via Warner Bros, but what label the former X Factor contestant is signed to at the moment, we’re not sure. It was reported that there was some trouble with her previous label, EPIC, and it was further added in early 2015 that Lloyd had parted ways with the label.
All three tracks have been written with Tranter, which are titled ‘Crawling Back’, ‘Sneaker Kids’, and ‘Never Never Land’.
We literally cannot wait to hear new music from Cher Lloyd, and it will be interesting to see what sound she will go for. Sirens – the lead single from her last album – was one of the most mature tracks we have heard from the singer.
Brats! Cher posted a new outtake of an unknown photoshoot on her official Twitter page. We don’t know what’s this picture for, but I believe that this photoshoot was made for her new album/single. Anyways, I think that she looks stunning, I love this picture! What do you think? I uploaded 1 large quality photo to the gallery. Make sure you check it out!

Recently, Aston Merrygold talked about Cher Lloyd in an interview he did for Reveal.co.uk. Below you can see what he said.
Aston revealed to fans he was recording music with fellow X Factor alumnus, Cher Lloyd. Speaking to Reveal about the collaboration, he explained:
“We have the same manager, so it just made sense. I was in LA and she lives there, so we thought ‘Why not?’. It’s an amazing song.”
“She is absolutely incredible! The talent this girl has, has not been seen yet. I was blown away. Any perception anyone has ever had of Cher needs to be put it aside and wait for her new album. She’s grown up now, she understands the whole thing and is switched on. It’s all very exciting.”
Kristian Bush, Cher Lloyd and ScHoolboy Q will headline Frontier Fiesta when it is held March 26-28 at TDECU Stadium.
The three artists form the highest-paid lineup to perform at Frontier Fiesta as part of the organization’s plan to bring more recognizable artists to the festival.
“It’s going to cause a lot of buzz. They’re big names. They’re people that you’re going to recognize,” said Frontier Fiesta chair Kelley Poblete.
Lloyd, whose performance is presented by the Student Programming Board, will bring her talents to TDECU Stadium on Friday, March 27. Lloyd is known for her hit single “Want U Back” and for finishing fourth on the seventh season of X Factor UK.
“At the most basic level, the concert seating has so much room to grow with 40,000 seats. The parking lot is also double the size as last year,” said Director of Cookoff Meghan Meriano
Poblete said Frontier Fiesta moving back to the football stadium is an important moment for the organization.
“Frontier Fiesta originally started at the stadium,” Poblete said. “We’re moving back home, and I think people will like the sights.”
