[NEWS] Cher Lloyd registers new tracks, working with Justin Tranter?

It seems like SO long since we have had new Cher Lloyd music. In fact, it has been about a year and a half since her last album – Sorry I’m Late – was released. However, it does seem as though new music is on the way.

Cher has been keeping her fans updated periodically via her Twitter account, in which she has been in and out of the studio, so we know she has been working on something, but three new registered tracks seem to confirm that.

To begin with, we know that Cher has been writing with Justin Tranter who is a fantastic songwriter. He’s worked on major tracks such as Justin Bieber’s ‘Sorry’, Fifth Harmony’s ‘Like Mariah’, Fall Out Boy’s ‘Centuries’, and Pia Mia’s ‘Touch’, to name but a few. The only thing we can say is that it sounds promising.

From the looks of the details of the tracks, they have been registered via Warner Bros, but what label the former X Factor contestant is signed to at the moment, we’re not sure. It was reported that there was some trouble with her previous label, EPIC, and it was further added in early 2015 that Lloyd had parted ways with the label.

All three tracks have been written with Tranter, which are titled ‘Crawling Back’, ‘Sneaker Kids’, and ‘Never Never Land’.

We literally cannot wait to hear new music from Cher Lloyd, and it will be interesting to see what sound she will go for. Sirens – the lead single from her last album – was one of the most mature tracks we have heard from the singer.
